Fund Raising

Since the bestowing of non-profit 501 C (3) status by Internal Revenue Service, USA, to our efforts of dissemination peace in which epistemology and vision are prime ingredients, a panel has been formed with the director and members of our non-profit organization TECVOW, to formulate, plan and execute peace projects and raising of funds.

The brand of internationalism advanced by Rabindranath Tagore, Romain Rolland (Nobel Literature Prize 1915), Albert Einstein, Count Hermann Keyserling (founder of the School of Wisdom in Germany), Henri-Louis Bergson (Nobel Literature Prize 1927) among others could be revived in the current age. In celebration of their message, UN and UNESCO declared that sesquicentennial year of birth of Tagore in 2011 would be observed throughout the world. We took the cue from there and documented a film covering many aspects of the global impact of this message of Tagore and others, in which His Excellency the Prime Minister of India, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Nobel Peace laureate (1991) Aung Sung Kyi of Myanmar and many foremost researchers and scholars participated.

We are quite animated that some of the precepts we present have already been approved by many wise men from above list of the glitterati:

• To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.
• Think like a man of action, act like a man of thought.
• The present contains nothing more than the past, and what is found in the effect was already in the cause. (Henri-Louis Bergson).

In 2015, we will follow the above footprints in announcing an essay contest among students of the world to propose peaceful solutions to our many existing political and social problems. In 2016, we will arrange an international peace conference on the same lines.

As we grow and mature, we will think about creating a peace chair in Oxford and Harvard universities. We will have the time to formulate what the duties and responsibilities of the chair will be.

As we grow further, we will convene regular international audience and participants in a venue where cultural mixing, cooperation and exchange will take place.

We will brainstorm and generate other peace projects, publish reprints of books and papers, distribute DVDs or make all peace proceedings on line.
